Now who does Asterius think that one who says “I am the one who is” (Ex 3:14) is, the Son or the Father? For looking at human flesh which the Word of God assumed and through which he manifested himself, he says, “there are two hypostases, father and son.” In this way he distinguish the Son of God from the Father, just as someone would distinguish a human son from his natural father.
