And he thought it worthy to connect man, who had fallen through disobedience, to his own Word through the virgin. For what other glory among men could be greater than this glory? After saying, “I have glorified you,” he continues by saying, “And again I will glorify you” (Jn 12:28), indicating that because of his extraordinary love for man, in the second glory after the resurrection of the body, he will make the formerly mortal body immortal and glorify it with so great a glory that he would not only be released from his first slavery but would also be worthy of glory beyond that of man.
