I think it follows to speak briefly also about the image since he has written, “And the other is the one who was born of him, ‘the image of the invisible God’” (Col 1:15). Asterius calls to mind the image of the invisible God in order to teach that such a God is as different from the Word as a man seems to be different from his image.
