Fragment 9: If the same one is man in its entirety and God, the pious mind which does not worship the man but does worship the God will be found both worshipping and not worshipping the same one, which is impossible. And while the man does not consider himself worthy of worship (for this would be impious), God sees himself as worthy of worship. It is impossible that the same one see himself as worthy of worship and not so. Therefore it is impossible that the same one be both God and man in its entirety, but in the unity of a mixed divine incarnate nature, such that worshippers see God as unseparated from the flesh and do not see one which is not to be worshipped and another which is to be worshipped. Nor is there in him one who is not held up to be worshipped and another who receives worship because of the salvation of the worshippers, but they are one in being according to the one essence and there are by no means some two in existing persons according to their own measures and their own worthinesses.

Fragment 10: O new creation and God-spoken mixture! God and flesh made up one and the same nature!
