For I came upon a letter of Narcissus, leader of Neronias, which he had written to a certain Chrestus and Euphronius and Eusebius, “When Bishop Hosius had asked him whether, just as Eusebius of Palestine says that there are two essences, he too would say the same.” Then I knew from what was written that he answered that he believed there are three essences.
