So he does not want him to be any of the things which he said before, for he says that he is an image of all these things. Therefore if he is an image of the essence, he no longer can be the essence itself. And if he is an image of the will, he no longer can be the will itself. And if he is an image of the power, he is no longer the power. And if he is an image of the glory, he is no longer the glory. For an image is not an image of itself but of something else.
